by Mirek Burnejko

PRINCE2 PractitionerPRINCE2 Practitioner is the second IT certification based on PRINCE2 2009 Manual.

The purpose of this certification is to confirm you understand how to use the PRINCE2 methodology in a scenario situation.

First level, PRINCE2 Foundation is a normal test, where you answer questions. Second level, PRINCE2 Practitioner is based in 100% on real examples from a project management field.

The exam is based (in 100%) on Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2 2009 Edition Manual

What Exams You Must Pass to Become a PRINCE2 Practitioner

To achieve this certification you must pass the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam. You must have the valid PRINCE2 Foundation certification. It is possible to pass both exams same day. One after another.

A training in recommended, but not required. You can pass the exam without it and become an official PRINCE2 Practitioner.

Format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner Exam

It is a scenario-based test. You can use a book Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2 2009 Edition Manual (on the Foundation level you cannot use the book).

You have to answer 9 questions (based on a scenario). You can achieve 12 points for each question. The passing score is equal 55% (59 points)

You have 2,5 hours to write answers to all questions. You will receive three booklets. One with the scenario (corporation, project, problems). One with questions and the last one with the answer sheet.
